Data Engineer
Building reliable data pipelines and platforms that data science teams can actually rely on.
About the position
You’ll build the data infrastructure powering our clients’ analytics and AI use cases — often the missing link between scattered data and models that actually hold up in production.
The role demands as much rigor around data quality and governance as speed of execution: our engagements have real deadlines, not open-ended research cycles.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain robust, observable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Model data warehouses suited to the client’s analytics needs
- Implement data quality and governance controls
- Work closely with data scientists to productionize their models
- Document pipelines so someone else could pick them up without you
What we’re looking for
- 3 to 5 years of data engineering experience
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with at least one modern orchestration or transformation tool (Spark, dbt, Airflow)
- Hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
Nice to have
- Experience with Databricks
- Exposure to stream processing (Kafka or equivalent)
- Familiarity with MLOps practices
