Cloud Architect
Designing resilient, secure cloud architectures for clients undergoing migration or modernization.
About the position
You’ll take ownership of cloud architecture design for migration, modernization, and infrastructure automation engagements — often for clients who’ve never operated at this scale in the cloud before.
The role is as much consultative as it is technical: you need to be able to defend your architecture choices in front of a client’s technical committee, not just implement them.
What you’ll do
- Design landing zones and cloud architectures that meet the client’s security and compliance requirements
- Define infrastructure as code (Terraform) for reproducible environments
- Establish security guardrails and cost governance from the design stage
- Support the client’s internal teams in adopting cloud practices
- Document architecture decisions so they outlive the engagement
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years of infrastructure experience, with a significant portion in cloud environments
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure (both is a plus, not a requirement)
- Proficiency in Terraform or an equivalent infrastructure-as-code tool
- Strong foundations in networking and cloud security
- Ability to explain complex architecture choices to a non-technical audience
Nice to have
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
- Experience running Kubernetes in production
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments
